Oh gosh, I don't want another whole "Lori scenario." "She wasn't shown shot on the screen, she's not really dead!" "Where's her body, there's no way that zombie really ate all of her! She's not dead!"

The Gov' is dead. He was a great villain, now he's dead.... he died in the comic at the relatively same point, too. Let's move on...

Ya never know. He and his assistant were doing quite a few experiments and what about that special tea only the assistant could brew for him? He may have found a way do slow down the decay process AND retain mental acuity.

As far as it goes, they showed The Governor in the "In Memoriam" segment of the last Talking Dead episode, so he's dead. The only way I see him coming back on the show is if he's a Walker (unlikely because Meghan's mom shot him) or in flashbacks.
