We need to unilaterally reduce our number of nuclear missiles to demonstrate to the world that we are a kinder, gentler nation under Obama.

The Clinton's were my first, in depth political experience and I never recovered.

Up until them, I was pretty nominal ... I had a job, money, family, church ... all the Norman Rockwell features.

Then I discovered FreeRepublic and all HELL broke loose.

Life has not been the same since and my thinking processes have taken a few turns I never would have considered 25 years ago.

Nope.

Thanks for your post however. :D

There is speculation the new missile can have up to ten warheads, and has a range of approximately 7000 miles.

China is catching up.

Quickly.

A 7000 Mile range seems almost redundant...

Unsure of your point.

China is breaking out of their technological capabilities gap, which they have suffered from.

I heard Bill Gertz last night on the first hour of Coast to Coast, mention that Chinese submarines about a month ago or so, have now ventured out and are becoming a true worldwide force.

China is (rapidly) progressing.

America is meanwhile, shrinking, and sleeping.

the 7000 mile range

Distance To New York City From Beijing is:
6830 miles / 10991.82 km / 5935.11 nautical miles

i was being sarcastic about the small “overkill” of the missles range.
