Worry is a sin. It tells God that you don’t trust in His promises to protect and care for you until He calls you to Heaven. There are several instances in Scripture of jesus telling his followers not to worry about the future, because God controls it.
When man forgets that, and realizes what a dangerous world he lives in, he is eaten up with worry, finding temporary and disastrous “relief” in the well-worn debaucheries of every godless age.
“Worry is a sin..”
Then we are all sinners. I worry about our Nation, government, and society’s corruption. However, I put that worry to good use. Instead of ignoring everything around me, I try to raise my children to be good people. I keep my eyes open to what they are seeing and being exposed to.. and I constantly teach them why something is wrong and what is right. I do trust in His Promises; however, I see my role as a parent comes with some worry that I am doing my best for them.
