So was society in general. Sixteen years ago the republican party was not publicly at war with Conservatives and we had united in our opposition to the rapist and chief. The gop/e then hated us... but they never spoke of it beyond smoke filled backrooms in DC.

True...10 yrs ago there was a LOT more posting a LOT more honest posting.
Now it is tempered.....always with a nod to the P.C.
I estimate 1/4th the number of posts....and very little shared personal experience.
Some of that is due to the growth of other sites of course.
But some is just trepidation .......as if it matters.
