UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Everyone seems to be tired of the snow this winter, but police said one man took it too far when he took his snow rage out on a plow driver.

“He had a gun to my head,” said plow driver John Abraham. “He grabbed me by the arm and tried to pull me out of my truck. He put the gun to the side of my face and said, ‘You’re going to move that snow.’”

“Snow Rage” Takes Over Global Warming

An Atlanta psychiatrist says he has never seen so much Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Of course, Georgians are in the middle of a historically bad winter. The mental disorder is typified by depression, usually associated with low-light conditions in winter. But the added winter burden, he says, of extreme cold, anxiety, and being shuttered inside is making it much worse. However, be thankful you’re not a snowplow driver.

This “monster” snowstorm has quadrupled the number of flakes up in the northeast and all along the east coast.

Idiot! He gives all of us gun owners a bad reputation—and adds fuel to the fire for the gun grabbers.

I hope he is never allowed to have a gun again. He obviously can
t control his rage.

I can relate. Had worked almost 2 hours to get my driveway cleared (with my cars temporarily out on the snow covered road out front). Got one car back into the driveway and was almost to the other when the township plow came by and deposited 3 ft of wet snow in the mouth of my recently cleared driveway and tight along side my second car). Spend another hour trying to free that car so that I could get to work.

Let’s just say the plow driver is off my Christmas Card List.

Reminds me of the story a couple of years ago about a citizen who attacked a snow plow with a snow shovel and busted the head lights and winshield and windows after the driver had plowed closed the driveway the guy had just finished shovelling out by hand. Citizen got in trouble, but what a great YouTube that would have made!!

The Eskimos have a saying for this.
“Tash-ka-leek-nik-nak”.
That roughly translates to “I’ll shank you just to see how sharp my skinning knife is.”

It seems to me that you Easterner's are a bunch of big babies. GET USED TO IT. It's frigging winter.

I don't know why the whole country has to suffer by listening to your woes. WE DON'T CARE.

Hey East Coast/South East: your whining and stupidity is getting boring.

I have to adapt to high temps and humidity. Please stop getting stuck on the freeway?? how does that happen?
stupidity.

Helps me understand why people in the South thought it was okay to own slaves. Stupidity.

Wait. What? I thought Northerners took all this snow in stride as a matter of course, while laughing us Southrons to scorn. Dig, baby, dig!

It’s a safe bet that these days, people in that part of the country are no longer singing songs like “Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow,” “Marshmallow World” and “Sleigh Ride.”

Are you justifying Slavery because the owners were haters?

or are you calling me a hater? I'm not a hater. Every time there's a storm East of the Mississippi, the press acts like it's the end of the world.

I had an associate from Sin-cinnati that transplanted down South. All she could say all day long was how racist 'you people', (meaning us white southerners, I guess) are. Finally I had enough of her calling us racists, I had black friends, went to a church that was 1/4 black, but she kept calling 'us people' racists.

I said two words to her: Marge Schott. It was the most satisfying comeback I ever gave.

Slavery. Excellent strawman, as winter storms in areas with limited number of snowplows and alt has everything to do with slavery 140 years ago.

You know what Barb? You're an absolute genius. I now see your connection between Southern snowfall and slavery.

Winter storms should be a justification for slavery to us racists Southerners - instead of picking cotton or tobacco, we can have our slaves shovel snow on I-20 and I-95. Shoveling snow in the Southland is still better than being worked to death and buried in a pit like they were way up nawth in the African Burial Grounds of Manhattan, New Yawk. Now go pick up that shovel. /s

I went to a park near Atlanta. They had a plantation, which had the White man’s house and a Little cottage where the slaves lived. People were walking around the grounds, looking reading the historical posts and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Once I realized it was a real plantation, I started freaking out and yelling at the black people to run away.

I couldn’t understand why people would want to make a plantation a museum. My soul felt the evil of slave ownership nothing to be proud of, but in Atlanta, at that park, the plantation was something to visit... beats the s.h.i.t. out of me why.

You situation calls for a 12 pack of Bud. I’ve had the same experience. Three times the plow guy sealed the opening I created. I picked up a 12 pack, stood in the street the next pass, and got him to not only clear the drive, but move a huge pile of snow so there would be room for the next storm. He never blocked the drive again.

Same reason folks in the north did. They just held on to it longer.

Wow. The snow plow shutting off the driveway thing is the oldest joke in the book about snowstorms. Don’t people in PA know this is gonna happen?
