You know what I am?

I’m a dog lover. I do not like it at all when dogs get shot, and I don’t like it when dogs get shot by police.

What I really don’t like is nuisance dog owners that do not take proper and responsible care of their dogs resulting in their dogs’ being in danger or placing others in danger by menacing or attacking.

What do you think the result of my letting my German Shepherd running lose and unattended in my unfenced front yard might be?

If the man’s disability prevented him from caring for his dog properly, then he should have given it to someone who could, because now the dog is dead, and it’s no one’s fault but his.

A German Shepard is a totally different situation than a barking lab wagging its tail. When I was thirteen years old, I was attacked by my neighbors German Shepard twice in a matter of weeks. After witnessing the second attack the owner put the dog down. I wonder if the dog was a toy poodle if the officer would have still shot it? It is a real shame that there are so many people out there without any common sense.
