I haven’t bought a box of overpriced GS cookies in 30 years. And, no, I don’t appreciate having them in the doorways and asking if I want to buy a box and getting snotty when I say no.
Yes, I have seen what 13 YO’s wear nowadays and that is the main reason I am so, very cautious of what my daughter wears. I’m sure you’ll have something mean to say to me; but, this is the mother of the girl in the article.
She was wearing leggings, ankle length (no shear spots or cuts cuts or holes) and a T-Shirt that had longer sleeves.
I see girls out and wonder if their mother’s noticed what they were wearing or care, at all. I, on the other hand do care what my kid wears and am not ready for her to grow up too fast. I don’t even allow for wedge shoes yet.
So, there you go...Although many people do allow their daughters to wear short shorts (might as well be underwear) and skin tight tanks and belly shirts at 13...I do not. And Cindy wouldn’t have been comfortable leaving the house like that anyway.
Just wanted to throw that out there to set the record straight.
