A blind Border Terrier has formed an inseparable bond with his father who helps him live life to the full by acting as his guide dog.
Two-year-old Lucky was born without retinas and has never been able to see.
However his father Scruff, aged three, noticed his son was often in difficulty and stepped in to help, guiding him out of harm's way and comforting him if he bumped into things.

Ping worthy, feel good story
My little black boy (racist!!) has been blind since about this time last year. I’m sure we’ve learned a lot more than he has in that year, or at least as much, things like patience and appreciating every little accomplishment he makes. He’s a sweet boy and 100% totally dependent on us.
I have a blind JRT, Glaucoma and both eyeballs have now been removed because of constant infections. As soon as we got those eyeballs out of his little head he turned into a better dog than when he could see. Lost his first eye at 2, his second one at age 4 and he is 5 now.
He knows his way around the house and yard and people who come over to the house are sometimes not even aware that he is blind.
I have 3 other dogs and none of them have made any effort to help him and he is independent enough to not want any help.
