Which can be seen as yet another illation of quantitative easing...

WHich leads invariably to inflationary pressures.

Xs boy texted after we got home on Sunday evening that the Hockey house (where he lives) acquired a pure bred husky pup. Some girl was working on a project with one of the housemates - wasn’t allowed to have the dog where she lives apparently, so she gave it to them, papers shots and all. My first words were— it’s very beautiful and just make sure you aren’t the one bringing it home in May! He sent a pic, and he is gorgeous, already size able and 9 mo old. I asked its name and he said the girl was Asian and so the dog speaks Chinese and English and it had a Chinese name but the boys named him Oshie, which is perfect for a hockey dog— tj Oshie winning the shoot outs to beat Russia the day before. And I have to say I thought tj Oshie was Asian for years!

How neat-whoever gets to keep the dog is getting a great companion-but if he is not yet neutered, that needs to be done, now-makes a much better pet. What color is the doggie?

You guys don’t like larger dogs, or are you thinking the dog might try to eat the Spaniels?

The Siberian Husky breed is hundreds of years old, has not been screwed with by too many breeders and so is very healthy, hardy and long-lived for a dog that size-they are easy to train, very people oriented, and clean. They are not all pet-aggressive or cat killers, either, if they are in a home with other pets from an early age-I offer Husky girl as an example, and there are many more on youtube.

In my previous job we had a Becky Zang who used to surprise people by not being Asian.

My Marine and I were in the car earlier and heard that 180 million had been wasted on the website in Oregon! Seriously, 180 million? Why didn’t they just commission a college class to do it? What a waste. And my husband said, “that is only one state - what the hell has been wasted implementing this crap”?

I adore huskies! They don’t bark - and are very sweet dogs

Yes, but for that $180 million they have signed up exactly zero people via the website.

The whole thing is a boondoggle. I’m thinking they all expected Roberts to outlaw Obamacare and they never intended to deliver any functioning systems.

That is the only state they have a lock on for that right now, but Massachusetts and a couple of others are looming with the same problem-God only knows how much of that state’s tax money has been wasted.

They really don’t bark very well at all-if they want you to notice something, they howl, and they are very good at that-Husky girl had a delightful time howling back at those coyotes upriver last night and adding to the general din of animal panic-she smiled and bounced for an hour after we came back inside...

Husky girl doesn’t howl unless she has a perfectly good reason, and all the commotion and coyotes were a good reason. Sometimes when she is answering coyotes, I howl with her, and she seems to like my participation in her game.

The storm is brewing-I wonder how much damage will be done to this debacle? I don’t see why anyone would try to second-guess the supreme court-they have thrown plenty of unexpected rulings out there since I’ve been watching such things, and sometimes I wonder if some of them have ever even read the constitution at all...
