George Zimmerman flees Miami after being accosted on beach and $10,000 bounty put on his head

George Zimmerman has fleed Miami after being chased by a crowd and told there is a $10,000 bounty on his head.

He abandoned his home with his family moments after a TV interview with CNN the next morning.

Zimmerman, 30, appeared on CNN on Monday to accuse President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder of making him a 'scapegoat'.

It has emerged his words came hours after infuriated protesters ambushed him, his girlfriend and her son on the beach.

Speaking on national television to Chris Cuomo, he revealed he still receives death threats seven months after he was acquitted of the murder of Trayvon Martin.

He said he suffered a 'miscarriage of justice' in his trial for the killing of the Florida teen, and maintains that he acted in self-defense within the law.

When Cuomo asked him what he was being made a scapegoat for, he responded: 'The government, the president, the attorney general....

Zimmerman said that he has had death threats since the trial, which he put down to his portrayal in the media and not his shooting of a teenaged boy.

Zimmerman told Calderón that he can no longer lead a normal life and must wear a bullet-proof vest when he is out in public.

Describing himself as 'totally homeless,' Zimmerman said his family helps him 'a lot.'

Criminal Justice system actually worked pretty well considering the manipulations by both Florida and the US Just-us Departments.
The problem is the Lynch MOB mentality has not only been allowed, but encouraged by the news media, the US Just-us Dept and the various states.
I have to agree with others, Mr Zimmerman would probably live a longer and happier life if he emigrated to a freer country. One that respected the rule of law, not the rule of man.

That or get elected as a democrat to public office. They can be forgiven for anything.

“The man should move away from Florida...out to Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Montana or Nevada and not tell anyone who he is...change his name. Start a new life.

Sad he has to do this...but IMHO, that is what he should do and leave all of that behind him...”

Again, again, again. 100%

The man needs to lay low, stay out of the media, and, keep his mouth shut for about a decade. His fault? The public’s fault? Doesn’t matter either way, it is what it is and if he keeps up with what’s been going on he will get himself killed.

There is a very fine line between brave and foolhardy. And Zimmerman is straddling it.

George should have moved out of Fla the day he was acquitted. He is not making very good life choices.

Why, pray tell, is Zimmerman in Miami?! IMO he’s got to get out of Florida if he wants any semblance of a normal life.

Amen to that. Spot on.

Move to the other side of the country. Change his name. Change his appearance. (Weight, Hair color, Hair length, etc.) Leave the whole Travon Martin thing behind him and be thankful he survived and was acquitted as he should have been. Start a new life.

Living in Miaimi (or about anywhere in Florida) as George Zimmerman is asking to be noticed by all of the wrong people...and they are noticing him, and it will get him badly injured or killed oe day.

He’s probably there because he has family he can stay with. He sure can’t get a job somewhere else and he tends to get pulled over in Texas.

Ya. Good idea but just imagine if he had shot someone even though he might have been justified.

I am guessing at this point that what complicates any exodus from Florida is

1] His girl friend now and what she wants which is critical because she now is the bread winner of the family.

2] And his divorce from Shelly, requiring him to be present to sign papers and appear in court and sit down with his lawyer on short notice — and that could drag on for years.

I don’t see him leaving Florida any time soon.

I wonder if this is the same girl friend that briefly pressed charges for assault a couple months ago.

Ohhh I’m pretty sure since he was seen leaving the courthouse with her after those charges were dropped and she has a daughter.

If anyone knows how to contact him I leave a standing offer to hire him. If he is willing and able to become a machinist and tool maker I will hire him on and train him. Idaho is a great place to live.

Or just change his name to Benghazi Benghazi*… maybe even make it a public announcement.

* For real fun he'd go with Clinton Obama Benghazi.

Yep, I caught it too. Genuine literacy is dying, My friend if the supposed professional wordsmiths can’t get a proper tense. I’ve seen far worse than that coming from “professional” news sources. I think half of them would be out of a job if somebody turned off “spellcheck” and “inline autocomplete” on their word processors.
