The game actually involves points, and videos, and peer groups, although it also is a series of assaults by people who are hateful, and moral idiots, and likely motivated by race.

If the police and media never said “knockout game” and only “knockout assault”, it would be a good thing.

Minutes earlier, the suspect had apparently been inside the Garden at The Cellar Restaurant, where he allegedly tried to punch the chef, Brandon Arms.

Notice the intentional over-definition?

By adding more and more qualifications to the knockout game, they intentionally exclude those knockout games that do not conform to the new rule.

There is no part of the knockout game that requires those doing it to video record them, especially if they are acting on their own, or to post those videos to the Internet. In fact, it is likely that the majority of knockout games were not video recorded or posted to the Internet.

And, as a note to the journalist and the police, almost nobody “videotapes” anymore.
