Read the article in toto, at no time is any species of fungus mentioned, despite the fact a colorful conidiophore of an unnamed fungus is shown—most likely a Mucor or Rhizopus fungus is shown, but I cannot be sure as the substrate is not shown. Just another article for a worthless MSM source, for one reason—attention.
