The Kel-Tec 2000 is an excellent little rifle. Depending on the model, it can take either the stock Kel-Tec mags (10 rounds) or Glock, Beretta, or S&W extended magazines. If you get the Glock option, depending on caliber you can get mags which work well that carry up to 33 rounds. That is a nice option. It is also very light weight and accurate out to around 150 yards.
The 2000 is harder to get nowadays and is more expensive than the Hi-Point but either is a great pistol carbine and well worth the money if that is what you need.
