Former NFL star Darren Sharper is set to be arraigned Thursday in Los Angeles on rape and drug charges in an investigation into allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted at least seven women in four states.
Sharper, 38, was charged last week with seven rape and drug counts involving four women he allegedly met at a West Hollywood nightclub. Court documents filed Friday revealed additional allegations in Las Vegas, New Orleans and Tempe, Ariz., that are all still under investigation.
The former New Orleans Saints safety appeared in court for the first time Friday but did not enter a plea as his arraignment was pushed to Thursday afternoon.

So we are expected to believe that this guy has a string of victims all across the nation.....and NO ONE REPORTED IT? The NFL was COMPLETELY UNAWARE of these allegations, right?
Maybe if the media and the NFL were LESS CONCERNED with trying to make everyone OVERJOYED about Michael Sam, they might be able to find a way to address the problems of Darren Sharper’s alleged victims.

Since this is the first he’s faced charges it seems unlikely the NFL knew anything about this stuff before. Also note these all happened between Sept of last year and Jan of this, there’s no allegations from his playing days. The bad news for the NFL is this all happened while he was under their employ, he’s now suspended without pay, but they’ll definitely be having some meetings on the fallout of having paid him to be in those cities (assuming charges ever get filed outside the LA case, right now the others are just allegations).
It’s very hard to prove a rape under these conditions. He’ll say it was consensual, and the jury won’t all believe it wasn’t.
The ONLY difference in this case was that when the victim became conscious she had the presence of mind to grab the shot glass and put it in her purse. That’s the proof that now makes all the other “alleged” victims stories suddenly become a very credible pattern.

Sure, but that doesn’t prove that the drug actually came from this guy. Any idiot can get an Rx for Ambien.
Half the “women” at places like this drink until they blackout and around 25% end up in bed with someone they just met there.
If you’re an ex footballer with enough money to buy a table, you don’t need to drug and rape passed-out people. The chicks will line up to sit on your lap, follow you home in groups and try to outdo each other in bed.
The guy here is a known millionaire and I’d say this is a very likely case of extortion.
to put it another way...they should be less concerned with where Sam puts his Peter and more concerned with where Sharper puts his Johnson.

I’m pretty sure Darren used roofies to accomplish his task. It’s the usual method.
