I actually think that probably 98% of the citizens of the US understand the purpose of the federal government. It’s just that many of them see an economic advantage to be gained by voting Democrat.
“Courage is the foundation of all the other virtues.” I suppose that the thing to do is to teach and demand courage from our citizens. It is truly cowardly to sit and think that you shouldn’t have to work as long as some Democrat will steal money for you. It is cowardly to steal foodstamps so you can buy a fancy car. It is cowardly to claim to be disabled when you aren’t. It is cowardly to work for an organization and then steal from it. Honesty is based on courage. We have a nation filled with cowards.
I received another unsolicited post today from someone who thinks that cowardice is OK. He thinks that taking illegal drugs because you are too chicken to face and change your reality is just fine. Well, then stop wondering why the country is having such problems. We know it’s from drugs, but we are too chicken to even admit that. We are supposed to expect honest, brave behavior from dopers? Yeah, keep waiting for that. Let’s just ignore them. Oops! We can’t ignore their votes. We can’t ignore their cowardice in asking for money they didn’t earn. Let’s let them live the way they want, lazy and stoned, and we can just be happy to pay for their lifestyle. You want a good government? Start demanding courage.
