"Since New Mexico (and Santa Fe especially) is a gay-friendly state, maybe it takes longer for those of the same sex to be aroused by each other."
Who knows aside from Sante Fe I haven't heard of a lot of homosexual enclaves. In fact, I'd be rather surprised if state-wide we have a higher than normal general-population ratio there's still a lot of [Roman] Catholic types in the state.I say that because of the libs that control the courts and recently ruled gay-marriage must be allowed and before that ruled against a commercial photographer who refused to photograph gay "weddings."

I say that because of the libs that control the courts and recently ruled gay-marriage must be allowed and before that ruled against a commercial photographer who refused to photograph gay "weddings." I remember that incident -- though I was out of state when it occurred -- it really pisses me off that they completely ignored the New Mexico Constitution:
Art II, Sec. 11. [Freedom of religion.]
Every man shall be free to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience, and no person shall ever be molested or denied any civil or political right or privilege on account of his religious opinion or mode of religious worship. No person shall be required to attend any place of worship or support any religious sect or denomination; nor shall any preference be given by law to any religious denomination or mode of worship.
It is, IMO, grounds for impeachment and disbarment.
