And on a subconscious level that may have played a part. A little revenge.

They had set up a jaywalking sting operation (no, really) and she apparently jaywalked. She had her earphones on and didn’t hear them, so they grabbed her arm. She pulled away in surprise. What woman wouldn’t?

I’m sure they started the “Who are you?” bullying before informing her why they grabbed her. I hope she sues Austin into oblivion.

They’ll arrest jaywalkers but let beggars harass the crap out of you and try to intimidate people into giving them money. Now, if the beggar is across the street they’ll be arrested by UT cops.

I do have to say that it’s good to see this happening in a blue cesspool like Austin. Maybe the left will see what the right is complaining about.
