Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!

Good morning!
How is the baby shower coming?
Overnight I was recording a John Tesh show. On one of his “intellegence for your life” segments he mentioned that the hot thing now is..
Baby showers for grandmothers to be! It’s because so many expectant children are close to home and depend on grandparents to help. But many grandparents have long ago thrown away basic baby supplies so...baby showers for grandmothers.
Good morning! We didn’t get as cold or as much snow as forecast but it’s supposed to stay cold the rest of the week.
Sad because Saturday is St David’s Day more often known as Daffodil Day.
In Wales Daffodils are usually blooming by now. Not here though...sigh.
Good Morning to you, too!
OHHHHHHHHH how I long for spring!
The (hopefully!) last gasps of an awful winter. SOUTH if us (and the I95 reg) getting an inch or soZ AccuWeathers Bernie Rayno started mentioning NEXT week storms on twitter yesterday. I’m not sure if I can handle “knowing.”
“In Wales Daffodils are usually blooming by now”
I guess we’re ready in Atlanta, then. Daffodils are EVERYWHERE and they make us smile.
I saw a sign on the way to work this morning - 22 days until Spring. YAY!
I have to drive to Delaware Friday & I hope by the time I come back on March 9th that the weather has become a little warmer.
Yup! We brought our first home in a basket mrs p6 held in the front passenger seat of a Pacer wagon. Both the basket and the Pacer would probably be illegal today.
Just saw your post about the grandmother’s baby showers! Soon after I found out I was going to be a grandma, two of my friends asked if I wanted to go out for dinner. They presented me with a basket full of baby things - pacifiers, bibs, rattles, baby lotion, safety stuff (socket covers, etc). I was so surprised! I still have several handmade baby quilts that I got when son was born. They are in excellent shape. I can use them again!
