So, asphalt plants just stop operating in the winter just because they have bad attitudes?

If memory serves asphalt needs a certain temp to be used. they may not stop making it, but it is usually stock piled for spring through fall repaving seasons. Most patch jobs done in winter don’t last long, a big pot hole is better served with a metal plate over it.

Use propane to heat the hole and the mix.
