Many prophecy watchers have always assumed it would come instantly, as if in one day, and yet here it is over many months, it appears to be a ruinous heap already, if those pictures from the link are accurate,

That's a very interesting take. Does the ruin of Damascus mean it is leveled by a nuclear bomb, as I think many have thought? Or, is Damascus, by way of the pictures in the article, now, in fact, a ruinous heap?
