Much as I respect the job cops have to do(two of my cousins are cops) if they knew that every once and a while one of them is going to get blown away because some citizen seeing them drive by thought they were going to attack said citizen it might balance things out.
It seems that having police visit you should put you in fear for your life. I wonder if this defence would work for citizen “You”.
