Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
-6 here in Jimmy Stewart land!
(cold) Snap!
up by 3 in West Alexander ... driving to Mechanicsburg today ... two day school board indoctrination
+3 here but feels a lot colder. I started the truck a couple of times while at work to keep it warm.
Could be an interesting couple of weeks. Holder having some kind of attack...maybe a panic attack because Lehrner is told to return and testify before congress.
Going to need popcorn for next week.
Meanwhile this may be of interest to some of the group.
>>State Representative Invites "Duck Dynasty" Star
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Cranberry Township State Representative Daryl Metcalf is inviting "Duck Dynasty" TV star Phil Robertson to Harrisburg.
Metcalf is asking Robertson to headline the Pennsylvania Second Amendment Action Day April 29th. Robertson drew controversy in an interview in "GQ" magazine.
The "Pittsburgh Business Times" reports Metcalfe says "the battle against the radical liberal agenda in Pennsylvania includes protecting our Second Amendment rights and protecting traditional family values."
He adds "many Pennsylvanians recognize his leadership and support his uncompromising and principled stances on these issues."
BTW it's time for The Nenana Ice Classic!"
I'm writing a song. Might even finish it this year.
When the ice breaks in Nenana
I'll canoe back home to you.
The river will be flowing
our hard winter will be through.
We won't need to build a wood fire
To generate some heat.
When the ice break in Nenana
I'll be coming home my sweet.
This weekend is Tripod days, the big celebration.
For a little town in the middle of a frozen wasteland, they sure know how to party!
Morning knarf!
Taking the turnpike? Drive carefully. Heck of a time for a long trip!
You placing a bet p6? I’m thinking the ice will break later this year!
I was thinking the same thing about Holder! Panic attack!!
undecided, I like 68, but I like the patrolling on the pike in the event of a breakdown ... prolly the pike.
Oh yeah, I’m betting, so is mrs p6 and a lot of her co-workers. They’ve been asking when to get in. Looks like mrs p6 and I will be busy keeping track of everything.
Like the lyrics p6! I was looking at the schedule of events. They sure DO know how to party!
Sad thing is it’s warmer there...+30...than here!
-12 here.
Even my brother who loves winter is sick of this deep-deep freeze.
Ladysmith!!!!
Hey, how’s everything?
Good morning n’@!
I put a tiny side dish suggestion on the end of yesterday’s thread:) it’ll be cold, but you’ll have good wx for your shower Saturday...Sunday into Monday...well I fear Jim Cantore may be flying to Yinzer land:-/
Holder? Panic attack...possible...OR laying the “groundwork” for his resignation (then hibernation) “for health reasons” as BOTH IRS and Benghazi are heating to a boil.
HI LS!!! (waves to the NW skies !!)
Hope you’ve just been well! nice “seeing” you back on the thread:)
I checked it out! Sister-in-law is bringing fruit salad. While I’m ALL UP for the cream cheese dip (I’ve had it before - it’s YUMMY!), SIL is a thin-as-a-rail health nut and I don’t want to insult her by insinuating that her fruit salad needs improvement! LOL!
Oh, you know, same morning gripe day after day. You know the one that goes...
