I have a Galaxy S3 and want to move a movie to my computer to upload to youtube. I can't e-mail it because the file is too large.
When I connect to the computer, the phone comes up but it shows there are no movies on the phone.
Where are those things hidden?

Nothing. It only shows .jpg files, not the movies

Cut out the middleman and just upload directly to YouTube.

The normal app for downloading images or videos is Kies Air, which lets a browser on the PC view the file system on the Android phone, assuming only that the smart phone is connect to your wifi system.

If you didn’t create it yourself, it is most likely being streamed from the cloud when you watch it.

I saw this on a forum, and cannot vouch for accuracy, but it might help.
When connecting your Galaxy S3 to a PC, it automatically chooses to connect as a camera. Plug android Galaxy S3 into the PC via usb. Pull down tab to open quick access tool bar. Under "Ongoing applications" it will read "connected as Camera Device" Select this to bring up the options menu. change setting to connect as a media device.

First of all, throw away that Galaxy. It is the biggest piece of junk ever invented. Run over it with your car. Pitch it in a volcano. Sight in your rifle on it. And never again buy a Samsung product.

It was easy yo tell that the voiceover guy...giving the instructions was not a professional “presenter” but Im glad he knew what..he was talking about anyway...

Download free Astro File Manager and you can then upload to Facebook, YouTube, Flickr etc.
Does your phone have a micro SD card? Put that in an adapter and insert into SD drive of your comp and transfer that way

Umm no. Simply no. There are tens of millions of S3 owners who laugh at your statement, including me.

Let me guess the next step is, go buy an iPhone?

Should be in the DCIM file, the same place where your pictures go.
