I was just about to give up, but I saw changes on the website and Joe started tweeting again so I figured the meet was over. So here is your ping.
This winter won’t quit.
The weather I have sucks. It has been the worst winter in my lifetime, bar none. I have abandoned all hope and embraced the suck, but to no avail. The only thing keeping me going are my kittycats and a generous infusion of hard cider. One of the largest bodies of freshwater on the planet, a mere stones throw away from my front door is an ice cube of biblical proportions. Spring cannot come soon enough.

I don’t know what to tell you except I’m sorry. I’m glad you have your kitties. My cat is asleep on pants I was too lazy to hang up. At least they’re blue and not black. I can’t get the hair off my black pants to save my life. Why did I buy black pants? That was so stupid.

That’s okay, i wasn’t looking for sympathy, just a little commiseration. BTW I wear a uniform for work which is largely black in color. I should buy stock in the company that makes sticky tape lint rollers, I’d be rich! Hope you and your furry babies are doing well this frigid night.

Joe is informative as always. He also is the only forecaster I’ve heard who is doubtful that the Monday winter storm will target Virginia. I do expect we’ll see snow on snow for the umpteenth time tomorrow. As Joe said, spring may be right around the corner, but it’s a long block. Good luck to all.

Leatherneck: From the one map she showed close to the beginning, I saw that DC is on the eastern end of the heavy snow belt. I interpreted his comment, is that we’ll get hit tonight and tomorrow. And it is folks in New England that won’t get the heavy stuff.
Any way, with the cold front that hit my body yesterday, I’ll be home sneezing, coughing and communing with Dayquil and nightquil.
Our forecast says 3-5 inches tomorrow.
