Don’t you have a pediatrician that you see for your other children?
The hospital is trying to ensure that you have made arrangements for adequate medical care for the new baby. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
You are probably right that the hospital just wants to make sure you have one but its really NONE OF THEIR DAM BUSINESS
and it is making my blood boil that they think they can just withhold your child from you until you follow “THE RULES”
Mom is a 20 year nurse and hospital administrator and mother. Sister is a 20 year NICU nurse and mother. There are 2 more nurses in the family. Mother-in-law has 5 kids. That should be enough shouldn’t it? What’s a pediatrician going to tell me that they can’t?
