It was a classic case of newscaster versus snowplow. And unfortunately for reporter Steve Keeley, the snowplow claimed an epic victory.
Keeley, a reporter with Philadelphia’s FOX 29, was out in Woodstown, N.J., covering the snowstorm that hit the northeast Monday. The veteran newscaster was standing roughly 20 feet from the road around 6:30 a.m. when a snowplow charged past him, taking all the snow and Keeley with it.
The Philadelphia reporter, obviously taken by surprise, was blasted with a wall of snow as it swallowed him up. But despite the unexpected visitor to Keely’s shot, he didn’t miss a beat, continuing on with his reporting as his colleagues gasped and screamed in shock.

Too funny.... The plow driver definately had the pedal to the metal !!
Probably a setup. The cameraman could see if the plow was too close even if the reporter couldn’t. Fifteen minutes of fame.
Yeah, we grow ‘em TOUGH here in Philly...
Check out the full video! He had 4 snowplows coming at him, it was the third one that got him! 8^)

Snowplow Wins, Ping!
The best part is that he was complaining that the plow trucks hadn’t been out yet.
All I could think of in that shot were the jerkwads back in college who would purposely speed through a puddle while you were walking to class. I caught a couple “tidal waves” that way.
Anyway, glad the guy’s okay. Would have been a whole lot less funny if that plow blade had been a few feet closer...
If I was driving I would have gunned it and hammered him...just for the sport of it.
That is hilarious. All the news people out in the midst of whatever is taking place to make it reality get what they ask for, this guy reminds me of Geraldo. LOL!
Oh why couldn’t it have been Geraldo! LOL!!!
Four more and the driver’s an ace.
HA! B^)
Yeah, all the hoopla about the unplowed road and the little jeep with a plow on the front went whizzing by with his plow up, not needing it.
