Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! Yes, the situation is dire. I have heard, and I believe, that Putin desires to reconstitute the Soviet Union. He know the US is weak and we have an incompetent pResident.
“Stupid” is a disease in the democrat party. When will the dems wake up and do something about the idiot-in-chief? Is their desire to keep their power stronger than the safety of our country? Dumb question I guess!
It doesn’t help that the repubs are a bunch of wusses.
Morning LS! We’re up to a whopping 18 degrees here! I’ve heard we may go up to 40 today! YIPEE!!! Mr S and I bought ourselves a greenhouse for Christmas. We’re itching to put it up. I bought seeds at Lowes yesterday. Can’t resist checking out the seed displays!
40? Nice! We’re going to hit 21, downright balmy today! We’ve got so much snow and ice, it’ll be the middle of June before the ground heats up... LOL
Oh, for the want of a greenhouse! How big is it?? I haven’t started any seedlings yet, going to start cold-weather ones soon and try my hand at some indoor gardening. Our mom’s lemon tree plant started blooming like crazy a month ago or so, so I made a point of hand-pollinating the flowers. You should see all the lemons growing on it! Good 20 of them, at least. My brother was just amazed by it yesterday.
I have loads of heirloom seeds from last year yet. Not sure if they’ll still be good, sure hope so.
I like the heirloom seeds too. I have last years seeds plus some new ones. Got the greenhouse at Lowes on clearance. It’s small - 6x8 - but we have a small piece of property. I started seeds too early last year. I’m being patient and holding off for a few more weeks this year!
I don’t know of a station that would have them.
KDKA is purely for old people and KQV is all news until Lars Larson.
most other AM is low power. Most FM is music or sports.
I think They ought to go shortwave.
Shortwave? Seriously?
What portion of the American public even owns a shortwave radio? 2%? Get on there with all the 9-11 troofers and corrupt preachers and dictators still spewing their propaganda? They’d be further ahead to just go online.
Although I do think they can get somebody in radio interested. Whatever share they would pull would be far better than most stations are getting currently. Likely though it will not be as strong nor as clear a signal as 104.7.
