I just want to point out that for us geezers it's a different story; to wit, "However, we also propose that at older ages, it may be important to avoid a low-protein diet to allow the maintenance of healthy weight and protection from frailty."

Yup, I find just the opposite. I have to stay away from carbs almost completely.
