The pneumonia shot is on my bucket list now. I had pneumonia, then a recurrence within a month years ago. Since the pneumovax, no more pneumonia. It protects against 90%, IIRC, of prevalent bacterial pneumonia strains.

While it would have been best to go to a doctor, it was an interesting experiment (thankfully, a successful one) to be able to treat yourself with supplies on-hand... Twenty years of working along side physicians trained at the world's great medical centers (Harvard,Yale,Hopkins,Stanford,etc) taught me that there's a good reason why it takes eight years (or more) before one is fit to fly solo in caring for sick folks.

BTW, if you thought by croaking the TCMS would be changed to the Lazamataz Memorial Shoot, no way in hell.
