The Dalai Lama is a coward. Some years ago, he expressed the traditional Buddhist critique of homosexuality and - to his surprise - was slammed by his Western devotees, many of whom are gay. But he knows who butters his bread, and now - guess what? - he is pro-gay. He is not a wise man or a holy man, but a very shrewd pragmatist. I find his decision to change Buddhist moral teaching very sad. I have posted on FR many times the Buddhist Position on Homosexual Acts, which was pretty much in line with the "intrinsically disordered" label given to such acts by the Catholic Church. I wondered if he and Obama wouldd discuss homosexuality at his recent WH visit since O supports gay marriage.
When did the Dalai Lama become an Episcopalian?

Supposedly the Dalai Lama has also said in the (not- distant) past that oral and anal sex are not permissible under Buddhism.
Not going to be much fun for homosexuals.
Plus, is he still pro-life?
That has always surprised me when Hollywood stars turn to this "guru".
