MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow’s Show Calls Abortion Practitioners Heroes
Life News ^ | Steven Ertelt

Abortion practitioners across the country are responsible for nearly 57 million abortions. They kill unborn babies on a daily basis, kill and injure women in failed abortions, and leave women, men, and families dealing with devastating mental health and spiritual issues as a result.

While a majority of Americans oppose abortion and believe abortions ought to be illegal, MSNBC held a segment calling abortion practitioners heroes. The Maddow show story focused on the anger abortion advocates have over pro-life laws in Texas and other states resulting in closing abortion businesses because they can’t seem to follow the law.

As Texas Right to Life writes:

On Wednesday night, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow featured an exclusive segment about the current state of pro-life laws in Texas, following the implementation of HB2, the Texas abortion safety law that added additional safety measures for women visiting clinics. The piece concluded with the announcement that Whole Women’s Health, which owns and operates abortion clinics across the state, was closing two of its five centers, in McAllen and Beaumont, respectively.

rachmad2Maddow’s take on pro-life politics in the state was misinformed at best. First, she laid out a background of pro-life legislation in Texas that is false. In her estimation, one minute after the Republican Party took control of the state’s legislature in late 2002, all Republican politicians set their sights firmly on pro-life legislation—or as Maddow would phrase the issue: “attacking women’s right to abortion.” Republicans simply stood and worked for policies that reflect the values of their voters.

Maddow chronicled the gruesome professions of two abortionists in the Rio Grande Valley as if they were heroes. One of these is abortionists Lester Minto, whose clinic in Harlingen was forced to close last Friday after Minto could not meet the requirements of HB2 to operate within the new law. Among other stipulations, HB2 requires that abortionists secure admitting privileges at hospitals near their clinics. According to Minto’s interview with Slate, he brazenly sent women south of the border after the passage of HB2 so that they could obtain the drug misoprostol for self-induced abortions (an off-label use of the drug, which can lead to maternal death). Minto, perhaps unsurprisingly, was not able to achieve privileges at any of the hospitals near his clinic despite multiple requests.

CLICK LIKE IF YOU’RE PRO-LIFE!

Generally, a physician in good medical standing faces few obstacles when obtaining admitting privileges, although the hospital’s credentialing board can take a few weeks or months to approve or reject the request. As of HB2’s implementation, some abortionists already had admitting privileges. Many others were able to swiftly obtain them. Abortionists like Lester Minto may prove that they do not value women’s health and safety; therefore, they are a liability to a hospital that would cooperate with their substandard abortion practice. Substandard abortion clinics that cannot or will not comply with Texas law are dangerous for women and will not be tolerated by the pro-life majority of Texas. If Maddow truly cared about women and their “safe, legal, and rare” choice of abortion, she, too, would want the practitioners out of the abortion business.

Even though he would not be able to run again, only three months are left on the term.

Yeah, a guy that has a collection of baby’s feet in jars is a hero in my book too.

Just so I don’t get any unnecessary flames.

If these people are heros, then who is the Villians?
Is a fetus a villain? If so, what offense did a fetus do to deserve that status?
These creatures who perform abortions are more than likely sadists who seek an outlet and to justify their abnormal desires. They are serial killers who operate within the laws of the land.
Abortion “docs” are the lowest of the low.

I fear for any kids these freaks actually have.

Imagine seeing them and not thinking how close they’ve come to being dismembered and sucked into a medical waste bag if that psycho b*tch mother of theirs thought it would cut too much into her “me” time.

we WILL win this battle eventually.

And history will look back in HORROR on this time period. And hopefully those like Maddow who promoted this atrocity will be hunted down to the ends of the earth for what they did like the Nazi’s have been.

You have real power when you can convince women to kill their own children. And they do it without threatening the women with imprisonment or death. Christians and atheists agree that sex was developed for reproducing the species. Yet, the fruit of sex is destroyed. It makes no sense. It is like going through all the work and expense of an orchard, and then throwing the fruit away. It makes no sense. When you think of it, it is perhaps the most degrading thing that can be done to a woman. Kill her fruit.

Years ago, I met a hero, a man who earned the Medal of Honor and survived through God’s grace. I don’t see any similarities at all between heroes and those who murder unborn children. It takes courage, character, heroism, and loyalty (okay, and bad timing) to face the Vietnamese, North Koreans, or Taliban in combat and make it onto this website: http://www.cmohs.org/

All it takes is greed, a lack of morals, and a coat hanger to make it onto the Planned Parenthood roster: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Well, if you look at homosexuals, it seems to me that the fruit of their sex is an orgasm.

That is the ultimate possible achievement of homosexual sex, so it makes the act, in my mind, particularly selfish.

To me the purpose of sex is 1) to reproduce the species, and 2) to express love between a married man and woman.

The reason it should be between a married man and woman is because obviously the result of expressing that love can be a new family member, so it is best in a situation where two responsible adults are prepared for that outcome.

Anyway, that’s just my thoughts on it. I think that view of sex has been very successfully attacked by the left.

Now it’s basically get yours whenever you want, however you want, and to Hell with the consequences.
