“I *think* the 26 year age limit for being on parents’ plans has the caveat that the adult-child must be a student. I.e., if your daughter/son graduates from college @ 22, goes on for a Masters or doctorate or to law/medical school, s/he will still have health insurance. I don’t think it covers ALL 22-26 year olds.”
Law is not determined by what we “think” it means. It is codified by law. Specifics are detailed. Not based on what someone “thinks” it means.

OK. My understanding of the law, based on those who’ve actually read it, is that only if a 21-26 year old adult child is a student may s/he be on the parents’ health insurance policy.
