Yea. The red circle is no help. I hope it’s an American sniper.

German. Canadian snipers do this too.

I imagine American ones would as well.

Most of them are surprisingly easy to spot. Only ones I had a problem with were the rocks where an image has no size perspective.

The rock was definitely the most difficult. Him standing showed us how important the right camouflage is.

Was able to guess the best area in half the photo’s, but couldn’t see any of them.

What was the ‘old’ saying?

You will never hear the shot that ‘kills’ you.

If on foot, the sniper, like radar cops in the median, by the time YOU see them, they have already made up their mind if you are the target or not.

Of course, the bad part of that ‘argument’ is “now that he has seen me I may as well speed....that may just attract his attention”

I am talking more in terms of the guy in the left lane doing 90, spotting a radar set up about 500’ away, slamming on his brakes .....

Several technologies spot snipers and camouflage with ease. The naked eye isn’t one of them.
