Crown Prince is swim-fan of 64-year-old elephant
Displaying an array of his many talents and passions, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has released a picture of him practising diving his latest hobby.
In the picture on Instagram, Sheikh Hamdan is seen diving with an elephant - Rajan.
In a report in Al Bayan, sharing his feelings at diving with the elephant, a rare breed, Sheikh Hamdan said he felt happiness and wonder at swimming beside this huge animal.
He was surprised to see the elephant diving and swimming.
Sheikh Hamdan said he was sad that the age of the elephant is 64.
I guess he's Republican.
We will laugh at these pictures when the Dubai oil runs out and they revert back to goat herders...
I didn’t know elephants went diving. And he has his mouth open
This HAS to be a once-in-a-lifetime photo. Where in the WORLD did you find it?
Actually, less than 3% of Dubai’s GDP comes from oil and natural gas.
Their economy now is based mostly on tourism and increasingly, the IT/financial sector. They’re poised to become a major global financial and IT center, I’d say over the course of the next decade.
They’ll be laughing all the way to the banks.
Which they own.
So 97% of their revenue comes from infidel tourists (to see exactly what?) and IT (which can be outsourced in a blink of an eye) and a state financial sector (which was "backed up" by their oil/gas revenue but declared bankruptcy anyways)...
Um...nothing much. This is interesting, but you better look fast because it's sinking about 5mm per year.

Polar icecaps melting?
wow - a bunch of rich housing where you are not invited. I am sure the kids would love it except for the 120 degree heat...
Google “Tour Dubai.” You’d be surprised. I’m surprised to hear 3% of their wealth is from Oil, but I shouldn’t be, they are a pretty small Emirate.
No, they’re sinking, supposedly. There are bureaucrats who insist they are not. Turns out they weren’t a good idea after all. Did you see any of the documentaries on their construction? Pretty cool stuff, but in the end, God always wins and the islands will be sea-bottom.
Yeah I saw it on Modern Marvels or something similar. It was pretty neat.
