Reminds me of Extortion 17 SEALS who kept telling their families (before getting ambushed), “Something weird is happening. I’ve updated my will.”

I remember back in the 70’s whenever my Dad travelled for business he always stopped at those little kiosks in the airport terminal and applied for the life insurance they offered prior to his flight.
Do they still have those? I haven’t noticed them for quite some time.

...he left the objects with her to give to their two boys if something was to happen to him. That's what jinxed the flight. One should never do that!

I prefer to never fly, ever.

“as he flew out to start a dream job in Mongolia”. Those aren’t words you read every day.

I prefer to never fly, ever. Well, you can always get nailed by falling landing gear, blue ice, etc.

Years ago, there was an interesting article in the New American regarding KAL 007.This incident could be a repeat.

He took lots of pictures before he left, too. If he did that everytime it’d be one thing but it’d be a major hmmmm if this was a first. Wish “reporters” would report the whole story but this is the usual half ashed story that they’ve generated out these past few years.

KAL 007.This incident could be a repeat. Nope, as soon as it deviated that much, I wouldn't blame any country that shot it down.

The article disputes that the plane was destroyed.

If it ever flies again not having been recovered by its owner, I would have no problem with any country shooting it down on sight.

I prefer to never fly, ever.I gather that you somehow have to fly. That's a shame, if so. I took my last flight in October 2000. Never again. For one thing, I will not be insulted by the TSA monkeys.

Same here. I have never enjoyed flying, just something you had to do to get there.
