It won’t be long until Mother Nature will do it for them. Spring starts next week.

I’m in West Texas now so, I’m taking some “forced” time off. Really trying to get to the LLano River for panfish; I’ve been told it is exceptional.

I have tried “flying” for Steelies in the Au Sable and wasn’t quite successful. My King/Coho trips were always on big water with body-baits.

And...the ONLY reason I would try to draw out the innards of a salmon would be to get roe. Always kept salt&pepper on the boat for a “sashimi” indulgence.

In a couple weeks, we will see news reports of massive flooding as the result of ice jams. The Mississippi watershed and lower great lakes water course will be something else to watch.

Yes, it will. Get your sandbags while you can.

I think Rachel Maddow had said something like "Global Warming means extreme weather". Something stupid like that.

If the logical use for your body is lost on you what else can be next?

Actually, not entirely true. In Chicago, they turned around the river. Now Lake Michigan also drains to the Mississippi Waterway.

It was a big deal for those of us on Lake Erie when IL took our water in a drought to power their hydro electric and flushed it down the Mississippi.

All our boats dragged the bottom.

And they haven’t quit stealing the water!

I didn’t know that.

Well, the Great Lakes are not SUPPOSED to be draining out some other way.
