TUSTIN (CBSLA.com) The AMC Theatre in Tustin was evacuated Saturday evening following a report of two suspicious men being in the venue.
One viewer told CBS2 that all the movie patrons were told to evacuate the premises located at 2457 Park.
Tustin Police received a call from concerned mall security around 8:15 p.m.
All of the customers were given vouchers for a future return.
Officials said an investigation is on-going. There was no official word if any arrests were made.
One of the suspicious men was wearing a backpack.
No one was hurt.
Was there a B-777 parked out back?
Not only do we need a pressure cooker ban we now also need a backpack ban as well.
some theaters ban back packs, large purses etc. Trying to stop food from outside.
Now they’ll just have to wait longer to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
what, were they working white guys who weren’t being knocked out, acting quietly confident but without a badge from uncle sugar?
The suspect claimed that all he had in his backpack were his 'footy' PJs and what he called his 'binkies'.
Nothing like a fizzles false flag op, eh?
Maybe they were...homeless! How terrifying.
[Little irony and sarcasm there.]
Did one of them work for a company that makes industrial boxes?
