these images are pro-Cruz?

because they do not seem thar way.

go ahead and alienate the base to pander to the freaks and tell me how it works out. Ted Cruz was the only politician I liked and had respect for. Why ruin that with by promoting this gutter ghetto filth that mocks what I stand for?

Ted needs to distance himself from this trash!

It’s not about the image, in and of itself, it is all about an attitude.

And yes, they are Pro Cruz.

UPDATE: The images appear to be the work of a Los Angeles artist Leonard Sabo, who posted an attempt at the design back on March 9. I’ve reached out to Sabo for comment, and will update when I hear back. His political and artistic views are, uh, interesting, to put it mildly, most offensive of which is that he seems to think Cruz could actually be president some day.

“Actually, kinda cool looking,” wrote one Free Republic commenter. “Maybe we can all get tats and stuff and form a ‘gang’. Call it the Patriot Gang or something. Put some drive-by fear into the liberals.”

Ted doesn’t need to do anything but be himself.

If liberals were to determine that the images actually came from the Ted Cruz organization, it would be over.

In our current political culture with a dominate left media, a known conservative messenger is shot down well before the message can be heard.

If the “messenger” is unknown and/or is a “Street Artist” the value of the message grows and can gain traction because the media doesn’t have anyone to attack.

It’s a form of “Culture Jamming”.

its not mocking us - its mocking the liberals! YOu have to look at it from the urban ghetto point of view. This is freaking genius. I know a lot of old conservatives have issues with this and would rather have dainty portraits of the founding fathers in hosiery and tricornered hats - but that DOESN”T WORK!!!! We have to target the youth, their natural sense of rebellion. Just like the libs did with the hippies in the 60s.
