That implies that we have had weather just like this, even worse, in the past well before Al Gore ever mentioned the words "global warming" or "climate change". One can, therefore, conclude that this in fact a weather anomaly consistent with the historical baseline and not a result of anew phenomena known as global warming/climate change. It is called weather.

Someone talks to me about climate change and I tell them they have to pick a side warming or cooling. The average temperature of the Earth either goes up, down or stays the same. It has basically been staying the same for the last 15+ years. I think we need the warmies and the coolies to fight it out before they come to the skeptics with their "established science".
