yes, they DO look edible! they are on etsy, i think the sellers name is AJSweets, she has all kinds of dessert looking soaps! please send recipe for the cookies. i may not make them for the shower but will do them for my cookie table for the wedding! starting to gear up for that! soliciting all cute, but not too complicated cookie recipes. Soother, what do you like to see on cookie table. Neo, are you having one? what are your faves?

Neo, are you having one?

I keep getting that question from my fam.

We will check with the caterer tonight at the tasting to be sure if they are cook with the cookie table. I'm sure they will be but we want to be sure.

ANCC is cool with it, so i imagine that your caterer will be too. They are making enough $ off of you they won’t worry about not selling desserts, besides there will be cake. Tastings are fun. xsbaby and i went with xsteen for it, bc xsfiance could not get off from work.

Yes, I am perhaps overly cautious-but it is not without personal experience, as I was nearly taken over a steep ravine in the Blazer 4x4 more than once. High profile vehicle + high wind = potential disaster...

You know what’s funny? The cookie table is a rather regional tradition, albeit one that is probably spreading. So some of our classmates may have no idea of that which we speak.

xshub still has to talk to ANCC about the bar portion of the reception. xsfiance is requesting that yeungling be available [and it’s not on the list of beers and he and his “boys” are largely from philly] and we want to substitute proseco for champagne, for the toast.

$250 plus shipping. Supposedly the guy commissions three authentic local artists and you get to pick the one you like.

We get four beers.

I’m thinking: Heineken, Amstel Light, Great Lakes Dortmunder (local), and I’m not sure on the fourth.

Coor’s Light — for your guests that don’t like beer.

Is Obama’s hapless lying
Some idiosyncratic trait?
Nixon was more practiced
In the middle of Watergate

Nixon was a professional
Who spun lies with skill
An uncommonly shady lawyer
Just like Hillary or Bill

If Obama had practiced law
He just might be believed
But community organizer babble
Tells us we are deceived...

La velocidad de los cambios Obamacare es una locura...

yes, i think we get a bunch, but yeungling wasn’t listed as one, and so we want to ask for that. xshub said that it isn’t a premium beer so it shouldn’t add a diff in price and i don’t think proseco is more expensive than champagne. i don’t drink beer so i can’t recall what was included in the package. Because our reception is noon-4, they offered a luncheon menu, but we have asked for a filet to be subsituted for the shortribs, from the dinner menu. Just salmon and steak, vegetarians are gonna be SOL [their photog is vegetarian, but she will get a vendor hot lunch and they can make that veg for her. vendor meals are $20 which is a fraction of the cost of the guest meals, so was glad to know there was such a thing]

yep. that is gonna be some serious cat-herding to get eveyone there on time. xsfiance has already mandated that his groomsmen need to stay in the hotel where he is, so he has no one going rogue and can wrangle them to the church on time. two of the IFFier bridesmaids will stay at our house so xsteen can make sure no one is arriving a la hora latina [we are looking at you, Elena]. And we have hair and makeup appts at 7 am.
