Bill Wilson’s house (Stepping Stones) is about 30 minutes south of me in Cross River/Katonah, NY.

Don't count on it. He's already set a precedent for "spoiled brats aren't legally liable for their actions" with his affluenza defense once. Not only Couch, but countless others like him will be able to use this in their defense in the future.
My wife’s late father was an electrician. In the late 80s a group bought Dr. Bob’s house in Cleveland. My father in law worked on the remodel. He found a pint of whiskey in the walls that Dr. Bob had obviously forgotten was there.

Neat story. Yes, hiding booze/beer as a form of denial.
When my girlfriend at the time was finally out of the house and in treatment. I found 2 contractor garbage bags worth of empty beer cans, vodka bottles, rubbing alcohol bottles and mouthwash bottles in some of the most fascinating places. Would be nice to have all the money wasted on that these days.
