For our Pennsylvania peeps on the list: The Pa GOP-e thugs are at it again! Here’s Nextrush’s post to the Pa. forum. What are your thoughts on Guzzardi?

Thursday, March 20, 2014 2:54:37 AM Nextrush

The political machine that tried to keep Tea Party candidate Scott Wagner from winning a write-in campaign for State Senate is at work to keep conservative activist Bob Guzzardi off the GOP primary ballot for governor.

Four GOPe affiliated people filed a complaint against Guzzardi’s nominating petitions.

They say some signatures are invalid meaning Guzzardi did not reach a threshold of signatures in ten counties.

If the GOPe succeeds in throwing Guzzardi off the ballot I hope he follows Scott Wagner’s example and runs as a write-in against Tom Corbett in the primary.

Good morning!

Interesting overnight. Debris spotted by satellite 3days ago could be from the missing plane. However there are conflicting reports. The very latest is that a US Posiden sub hunting aircraft has searched the area and found...nothing.

Very good and up to date info is at airliners.net.

We have to fight these jackwagons with everything we can! No nice talk or trying to reason with them.

Morning! I’m thinking of writing in Guzzardi, but I can’t help but note that York Co., if I remember correctly, is a red county. It may have been easier for those people to mobilize to get the vote out for Wagner. Would Guzzardi have a chance with a write-in vote?

I think he has a chance with a write in. It will take a lot of mobilization though.

Pennsylvania has its “Tea Party strongholds” from the Lehigh Valley southwest into Berks and Lebanon Counties, the suburbs of Harrisburg, York County, Gettysburg and Chambersburg, plus some western counties.

But that spirit does need to spread to other parts.

Scott Wagner could match almost dollar for dollar with his own money the half million dollar smear campaign against him in the special election.

I hope Wagner lends some support to Guzzardi like an endorsement or something like that.

Looks like the outgoing child mayor pulled a clinton on his taxpayer funded office. Hope they nail him.

The broken chandeliers (I worked in the City/County Bldg years ago...there were some gorgeous woodwork, iron & bronze work, marble) WHY!?! damage it? And the Super Bowl Crystal Trophy...I bet it went YEARS AGO on eBay. Glad Peduto called the Feds.

Quinn and Rose Update 5

Sent By rose On:Mar 03/20/14 3:54 PM To:

This time I asked Quinn to say hello and give an update. It turns out that wherever we go, someone will stop us and ask about the future of the show. Your reaching out to us in this way has
been a tremendous support for us. We are truly grateful to all of you.

Here is Quinn’s message:

Your support has been like nothing I have experienced in a lifetime of doing radio. Our affiliates report the same response and all are looking forward to our return. While there are developments on that front, they are still in the formative stages and it would be premature to discuss them at this time. Suffice it to say we truly miss all of you and thank you again for your dedication to our show.

In the mean time the cost of keeping up the web site and all that goes with it continues. I was considering standing by an on-ramp of I-76 with a sign that reads “Will rant for food” but with the coldest winter of the age of Global Warming I thought better of it. Instead I would ask that you check out the gift shop for some neat stuff that makes great gifts for your conservative friends. They can also serve to tick off that liberal co worker who keeps sending you articles from Mother Jones. Any support to help us keep the site up is greatly appreciated. In the mean time we will keep you informed of any upcoming appearances or return to the air.

If you have teenagers — check out the event that Rose is MC’ing On March 29th at Synod Hall in Oakland. It’s an open forum about sexual/reproductive health for teens being put on by People
Concerned for the Unborn Child. Thanks again from both of us. You are the most amazing radio audience in America.

The Truth About Sex / March 29, 2014
Free Admission - Free Food - Free Gift Bags. Two Nexus Tablets to given away. Speakers include Rose from Quinn and Rose, Dr. Brian Donnelly, MD, who speak on Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Mary Beddingfield who will speak of her abortion experience. OK. Here I sit, in my office. Everybody has gone home but me. I was tasked with doing the filing for our front office. Those lazy-azzes go home at four but I have my own work to do all day, so I have to do the filing after hours. They are younger - 30’s, 40’s. They act like teenagers. Why can’t they stay and do their own work?
They screw around all day - texting, laughing, talking on their cell phones. My boss has no backbone and laughs and jokes around right with them. I love my job, but I don’t enjoy doing theirs. I am at the point that I want to quit, but I can’t afford it and nobody’s going to hire me at my present wage given my age. I’m so disgusted I could spit. I wish I could open my own business but I need the health benefits and refuse to participate in “obamacare”.

Sorry for the rant, but I had to get it off my chest!

Most times when I go to work the young ding dongs have left....maye an hour before the shift ended. They...several times including the owner’s son...fail to come in to relieve me. They don’t do the work but demand more money just being there.

Then I catch heck for the work they didn’t do!

Similar with mrs p6.

If we could retire we would but we will never be able to do that.

Oh BOY does that sound familiar!

Sad, but I got wind that boss might bring in a younger co-worker to take the place of my present (older)part timer who does an EXCELLENT job (when she’s not talking!) She has a hard time getting around with two knee replacements so can’t do filing. The younger lady worked with us before and is very nice but she’s a know-it-all. As for me; I just want to be left alone to do my work!

Not changing the subject but I think I just heard Eric on The Five say that all Pirates training camps teach in Spanish...Español!

Jim will have a TON of stuff when he comes back! There are some great opportunities for stations that want a proven, STRONG morning show but I can’t say more...

Boy oh boy...do I feel your pain. It’s our age group. I believe we get taken advantage of because well do what needs to be done, and we NEED the pay.

It’s good to “vent” but know you are NOT alone.

Sadly, for me, that whole PowerBall thing didn’t work out as planned tho week.
