Pretentious display of superficial knowledge..

Etymology:
From Late Latin sciolus (smatterer), diminutive of Latin scius (knowing), from scire (to know). Ultimately from the Indo-European root skei- (to cut or split), which also gave us schism, ski, shin, science, conscience, nice,scienter, nescient, exscind, and adscititious. Earliest documented use: 1810.

Me too! The meds aren’t touching the pain. I told her it might be because I was popping motrin or naproxen like candy(not really, but I was taking it every day and now I am off everything for 5 days and then on something else that hasn’t worked for me before either).

i know, i am teasing bc i saw a thread on here yesterday saying it was a violation of fed law. in the olden days i know we did pools for a buck a throw, but now we get emails making sure we are aware it’s prohibited.

I was at my doc on Tuesday to get the injection in my knee...we decided it was time for my knee surgery...and my consult is tomorrow. I think they are worried I will change my mind. LOL That was fast, I am hoping the surgery will be in a few weeks, so I can get a chance to catch up on housework before the recovery period kicks in. I am still hoping for the partial replacement. Faster recovery.
i’m sure you will be glad you did this, once you are on the road to recovery.
