Mercer shot lights out from the field. Are they normally that good from the field?

Nope, that wasn't the reason Duke lost either. Mercer fielded a TEAM that had learned how to play BASKETBALL, not this THING they call basketball these days at most schools, high schools and universities.

Mercer's a good team and not meaning to take anything from them. They did shoot a higher FG % today than they normally do.

I'll say this and stick by it...if this game is played at Cameron Indoor it's not even close. Coach K will chew the refs and get his calls. I've watched too many puke games and seen it happen.

plus, puke has lived and died by the three-ball this year. couldn't get them to fall when they needed them.

for the record...glad Mercer won.
