The only thing that matters is what you can do on the field. For a neighbor I would pick Tebow, for a NFL GB I would put Vick on the field over Tebow. In the big boy world of sports, winning is the first, second, third, the only thing that matters, everything else is just irrelevant.

Ever since he came into the NFL, I have said that any team that thinks Michael Vick is the answer does not have a clue as to what is the fricking question.

At least when he was younger he was as entertaining as a high speed police chase on the evening news.

As a Jets hater, Go Jets! into the 20th Century!

It is not often one gets to watch a multi-million dollar enterprise commit suicide, hari kari and self immolation in one fell swoop.

If they let Vick be Vick, they will be fine. But they better have a backup.

Vick will probably be the backup unless Geno Smith completely falls apart.

The one thing I found disturbing with the whole Vick controversy was I felt that a lot of people had more sympathy for the plight of animals than people. I would not be far off in stating that Vick would have gotten less animosity from people if he had killed a couple of people and served his time. From a pure philosophical perspective, what is the real difference between dog fighting and deer hunting. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against deer hunting what so ever. I just don’t get people who shed a tear for a dog, not even their own, more than they would when they hear of some massacre of people somewhere in the world.

Although I think Sanchez is getting a bum rap (since I’d rather start him over Geno Smith or the Dog Executioner), I’m at the point where I’d never, ever draft a USC QB if I were an NFL GM. I can’t think of a USC QB who’s made an impact in the last couple of years. Carson Palmer never lived up to his alleged potential (although he played on mostly garbage teams), Matt Cassel proved why he only deserved 33 passes in college, Matt Leinart never progressed past being a spoiled frat boy, and now Sanchez is scrambling to find a third string job somewhere. The jury is out on Matt Barkley, but it’s safe to assume he’s not taking Nick Foles’ job.

The media eats their young in NY sports. They’re a vicious lot. Wouldn’t it be swell if they questioned the Usurper in the White House that way?

It’s hard not be wowed by Vick’s athleticism (which is fading quickly).

But in the end, aside from killing dogs, what makes Vick a lousy NFL QB is the fact that he’s left handed, much like our socialist “president”. Left handed QB’s require your best pass-blocking o-lineman to play on the right side instead of left to protect the QB’s blindside. That usually plays havoc on a running game. Not only that, left handed QB’s tend to be less accurate.

Here’s another one for ya:

Go Jets! And Take The Knicks and Islanders With You!

(I actively root against NY teams with a vengeance.)

Other than Steve Young, I can’t really think of a left handed QB who’s won squat. (Way too early for Google.)

The only real reason having a Lefty at QB can screw up your offense is if his backup is a Righty — at that point your offensive line is a mirror image of what your backup requires.

As for Lefties being “less accurate” — I don’t know where you’re coming from with that.
