Leno works about 100 gigs per year
“Fallon’s doing great! He’s beating Kimmel and Letterman. He’s got four million viewers!”
Um, Leno was averaging eight million viewers a night.
Losing half the audience is not success, no matter how many exclamation points you use.
Kimmel is much funnier than that Obama suck-up.
That may be, but Kimmel’s ratings stink. ABC has spent a lot of money trying to develop a consistent fan base for his show. They were really expecting him to pick up some of the old Leno audience disenchanted with Fallon. Didn’t happen.
Wondering how long they’ll stick with him...
Well a late night show host doesn't get paid $12 million a year for not being funny and talented.
I haven't seen a late night TV show (other than SNL) since Johnny Carson was swinging an invisible golf club. However, I do not deny that the people that do them are funny and/or talented.
I hope ABC stands behind him. My wife and I really enjoy Kimmels style.
