I don’t understand ROKU. From what I have seen our smart TV, Sony blu-ray player, and Android on a stick all offer a simlar line up of hundreds of channels. However the programs are limited and/or several seasons old.

Is Fox news live or just a loop? I don’t care about sports but do enjoy NASCAR. is that offered and live?

It’s similar to my experience with Netflix. While mrs p6 finds things...mostly dvd....I don’t or they are dvd only.

I’m not knocking ROKU or Netflix, I want to know if there is something to justify spending more money on entertainnent.
