I revise my previous statements. I am not as sure that the officer was justified to use lethal force. I made previous statements based on the article alone, but the video told another story. I do not know the full story. I do not think anyone here does either, but if you do, please let me know. I have the right to form opinions and express them as such (as long as JR allows me access to his property — FR).

Yes, it seems silly but if LEO’s had to first Bear Spray anyone before resorting to lethal weapons it would be a lot less risky to be a civilian in this militarized LEO society.. well it would keep a few thousand more dogs alive every year.

and if they ever have sprayed cheese-wiz on cracker they have had all the training they will ever need. Britain might have had the right idea about taking guns away from cops.

Okay, let’s go back a few years. There was another “CRAZY MAN” that terrorized this community. The police would arrest him, he’d spend a few days in jail, then he’d be let out again. This happened for a couple of years. Then one day he was again released from jail, but this time he had a gun and killed 2 police officers before he was caught. At least now, this man is in the state “LOONY BIN” for life. Now, who is to blame for that? This is the problem that police officers have, probably every where. They catch the perp, the judges turn them loose, to be caught again by the police. There will be one time when a perp gets a gun and kills a police officer or a civilian.
