BTW, Hillary’s mommy also accompanied her (and several of Chelsea’s friends) on a grand tour of China.

funny i don’t recall it at all, but i do believe Marian is all about getting everything she can while they are there. the Obamas lost no time in getting those girls on a world tour. That first summer, they hit at least 2-3 continents.

Not only did Hillary’s mother live at the WH throughout nearly the whole Clinton presidency, one of her ne’r do well brothers lived there too towards the end of their term in office. I think that Roger Clinton was a resident for a while, as well.
The brother and brother in law were selling pardons, as I remember.

Is there even a chance religious freedom will last in the U.S.? The commies the kenyan placed on the SC are going to vote against Hobby Lobby and our own turncoat has already voted against us before. I fear my favorite craft store is doomed because I don’t think they will back down.

God gave us free will.....and Obama wishes to take it away. Very telling.

If you do lots of situps to lose fat and tone your tummy muscles, are practicing abnegation, or abinflation?

I think Sotomayor votes to make it 6-3 in favor of Hobby Lobby.

My abnegation for Lent has been fasting daily. Somehow, God has blessed my effort and it is going fast. Losing some unwanted weight is a nice perk.
3 more weeks till my surgical consult. I hope it goes fast after that....I watched a youtube vid on knee replacement and couldn’t eat all weekend. I had to force food down. I had a big breakfast this morning, thankfully my appetite returned.

i don't see it either. did you see that Raymond Burke spoke out in his role as CJ at the Vatican to say that Obams is kind of
beating on the christians in the US? i wonder if it's too much to hope that Francis would speak to him about that, and not just about the happy slappy income inequality etc topics that they are sure to cover.

i made brunch for my "galpals" [xsteen jokingly used that term for them, LOL] on Sat AM, because one of my friends had a bday. I made two different quiches. One in particular was really good. A caprese quiche, with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. it was EXCELLENT. it's a good lenten lunch also and you might want to make some stuff like that to have on hand after your surgery so you can just heat it up while recuperating.
Here's the recipe. it will be even better when there are legit ripe tomatoes available in the summer. i used fresh mozzarella which i sliced for the bottom layer.

Yes, in the Little Sisters case. Which is even more of a slam dunk.

oh and RIP SU, huh? really it's a blessing to have the plug pulled on that team. They were virtually UNWATCHABLE. xshub was out looking for some dishes for me [seriously, that's how hard up he was to get out of the house! it was hilarious!] and i had it on the tv, had to turn it off bc it was making me sick. then tried watching it on my phone, and then couldn't take that any more. just followed it on twitter. he came home all chipper and said he was over it, but then yesterday he was morose and then later in the ANGRY grief stage, LOL!
Pitt really pooped the bed in their game too. Were doing great the entire first half and then just lost it altogether in the second half. I will not watch any more but will have a casual rooting interest in Baylor, for my nephew's sake. he WON tix to yesterday's game, by tweeting an inspirational message to the coach, LOL. I am happy for him that he's got to see all of the games so far.
