His posts are there. The offending post does not appear to be. This would lead me to believe that the entire thread was pulled.

He was tireless in digging up stuff that we other wise would have missed.
Most of it very interesting.
Banning him was a very bad mistake that will make FR less interesting and of less value as a news source.

I have found 2nd DivisionVet's responses to be very thought provoking and informative .
I hope he can return soon, and we get an explanation from the Mods !
